What kind of health leader do you want to be? What kind of organization do you want to lead? Can you envision it? Determining your leadership system and plan and being consistent are critical.
Specifically address the following issues:
1. It is often said that "change is the only constant in life". What should Master leaders do to prepare themselves, and their organization, for the inevitable changes to the healthcare industry?
2. Develop an action plan for becoming a Master leader. Discuss the challenges associated with your developmental plan.
3. How important do you think it is to work for an organization whose values align with yours? How would you go about finding out about the culture and values of that organization?
4. What makes a Master leader effective in leading healthcare organizations in environments of change?
5. Do you think that Master leaders can emerge in all hierarchical levels?
6. Can you apply the concept of Master leadership to organizations in different industries?
7. Is the Master leadership concept universal? That is, can the ideologies of the Master leader be used in different industries? Why or why not?
