One of the seven major categories of criteria for an applicant for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award is “human resource focus.” A company or organization that applies for the Baldrige Award must show measurable results of efforts to improve the workplace and working environment for employees, identify and discuss some of these efforts and measures cited by Baldrige Award winners.
