(A-32) 60 cancer chemotherapy patients who were categorized as exhibiting either high or low anxiety were randomly assigned to one of three conditions: cognitive distraction, relaxation training, or no intervention. Patients were followed for five consecutive chemotherapy sessions. Data were collected on such variables as nausea and both systolic and diastolic blood pressure.
