the grapevine—by answering these questions (If your group can’t come to an agreement, do some additional research.):

a. What is the difference between gossip and rumors, and what role does gossip play in maintaining the grapevine, if any?

b. Who uses the grapevine most—men or women?

c. How fast and accurate are messages carried by the grapevine?

d. How can you tell the health of your organization by listening to the company grapevine?
