1. Technology Activity: In groups of five to seven people, make a list of all the technology (such as social media sites, YouTube, and email) that people in your group use to communicate

(a) with friends and family,

(b) in class and training situations, and

(c) in the workplace. As a group, rank the communication effectiveness of each technology on your list using a scale from 1 (extremely ineffective) to 7 (extremely effective). Select the most successful and least successful technology in each of the three situations and share specific problems and successes using them. Was there an overlap of most and least effective technologies across the three areas? Why, or why not? Select one of the ineffective technologies and discuss ways that communication could be improved using it. Be prepared to share your conclusions with other groups.
