COLLABORATION [LO-5] In a group of three, find a nonprofit agency or charity in your community that would benefit from having its story told (perhaps to help with fundraising). Your goal is to come up with a script for a story related to this agency. You could use the script to get the instructor and the agency’s approval to produce the story later on in the course.

Gather information about the agency’s mission, its work, its culture, and the people it helps. Find compelling examples of the good work this agency does and choose one to build a story around. How could you tell this story? Be creative to decide what would be the best way to share it—should you make a short (1-minute) video to post on its website? a couple of (15-

second) Instagram videos? a Slide Share presentation? a Facebook post or an infographic? Once you identify the focus of the story, write a script for it, including the type of images you would include, and submit it to your instructor.
