14. Noting Problems in Proposal Writing. Most schools have certain people or even entire offices that assist instructors—even students—in writing and submitting proposals. Interview an administrator in such an office, or if there is no office, perhaps an instructor who has submitted a proposal. He or she will have some ideas as to what should or should not be done in writing a proposal. In parallel form summarize the positive and negative elements they personally feel should be avoided or included in a proposal. This report could be in the form of an executive summary or in a short report format.
