7. Listening to Newscasts for Repetitions. Even though TV newscasts are not a pure form of public speaking, newscasters use some of the same features you will use in more formal presentations. Listen to several things in newscaster statements: their introduction to the newscast, transitions between stories, and their concluding remarks at the end of the newscast.
