Interview at least two professionals from at least two generations.

Ask them about their views of similarities and differences between professionals of various generations. Consider asking questions such as the following:

• What do you see as some of the differences in how people of various age groups use technology? (You might consider being specific about various types of communicating and computing, such as texting, calling, voice mail, email messages, word processing, and so on.)

• What are some differences in word choice across the generations?

• How do members of various generations approach meetings differently?

• How do members of various generations view etiquette and formality differently?

• What do you think members of the various generations can learn from each other?

• What do you see as the main similarities across generations?

Write a short report of your findings. Conclude your report with three recommendations for working effectively across generations.
