7 International Construction Group has a contract for construction of a petrochemical plant in a foreign country where the primary language is Arabic.

Many of the contractor’s workers are from Korea and Pakistan and neither read nor speak Arabic. All of the safety signage on the construction site is in Arabic in compliance with contract requirements. Since not required by the contract, the contractor’s project superintendent decided not to install multi-lingual safety signage.
