2 You have been asked to review the entries in your company’s Log of Work-Related Injuries and Illnesses. While comparing the supporting documentation to the log entries, you notice that one of the projects had several incidents that were categorized incorrectly. When you check with the project manager, he tells you that there is plenty of leeway in how incidents are categorized and it’s standard practice to minimize the severity. You’re pretty sure that’s not right. But if you correct the log entries, the statistics for the project will look terrible. You’re afraid that if you make the corrections, the project manager’s performance as well as your company’s safety record will be in jeopardy. The project manager has a lot more experience than you do.
