Refer to The Sport Journal (Winter 2007) study of a new method for ranking the total driving performance of golfers on the Professional Golf Association (PGA) tour, presented LO9 

in Exercise 11.29 (p. 628). You fit a straight-line model relating driving accuracy (y) to driving distance (x)

to the data.

a. Give the null and alternative hypotheses for testing whether driving accuracy (y) decreases linearly as driving distance (x) increases.

b. Find the test statistic and p-value of the test you set up in part a.

c. Make the appropriate conclusion at a = .01.
