Equal amounts of pure nitrogen and pure oxygen, each at 3000 K and 1 bar, are continuously fed into a chemical reactor, and the reactor effluent, consisting of the reaction product nitric oxide and unreacted nitrogen and oxygen, is continually withdrawn. Assuming that the reactor is adiabatic and that the reactor effluent is in chemical equilibrium, determine the temperature and composition of the effluent.
