Bought merchandise on account from Rolin Company, $3,800; terms net 30 days. Mar. 14 Gave a 45-day, 10 percent note, dated March 14, for $3,800 to Rolin Company to apply on account. Apr. 28 May 24 Paid Rolin Company the amount owed on the note of March 14. Borrowed $10,800 from Kingston Bank, giving a 90-day, 9.5 percent note for that amount (received full face value), dated May 24. Aug. 22 Paid Kingston Bank the amount due on the note of May 24.
