10.85 “The game’s appeal for teenagers ‘is the same as for adults’,” an article in USA Today (December 21, 2004), reported on a poll of 200 male and 199 female teenagers aged 14 to 17. The findings reported were that 66% of the male teenagers have “ever gambled” and 37% of the female teenagers have “ever gambled.” The poll was sponsored by the 2003 Annenberg National Risk Survey of Youth.

Use a 95% confidence interval to estimate the difference in the proportion of male and female teenagers who have ever gambled. Compare your answer to the confidence intervals formed in Exercise 9.74 on page 509. Comment on what these two approaches are telling you. Include a revisit with the comments written in answer to Exercise 9.74 part c.
