Each student should estimate the number of footsteps that he or she would walk between the door of the classroom and the door used to exit the building. After recording all of the estimates, each student should then count the number of footsteps while walking from the classroom door to the door most students use to exit the building. After all of the estimates and actual counts have been compiled, explore correlation and regression using the tools presented in this chapter.
