a. Compute the mean and standard deviation of both calorie and sodium content of the soups listed in the table.

b. Use your answers to part a to test Chebyshev’s theorem that at least 75% of the soups’ calorie and sodium content will fall within 2 standard deviations from the mean. Is this the case?

c. Find the limits for 1 standard deviation from the mean for the soups’ sodium content. Does sodium content of soups appear to follow the empirical rule? Explain.
