Lines and majors: Each student draws a line by eye on a sheet of paper and tries to make the length as close to 3 inches as possible. Each student’s line is measured. Record each student’s major, and for each major, list the true lengths of the lines drawn by students with that major. Then construct an ANOVA table, and perform a hypothesis test to determine whether the mean length of lines varies among majors.
