Pitch: Hotels frequently operate with minimal staff. As a result, when a guest orders a room service meal or a snack, it often takes a while for the delivery to take place, which diminishes the customer experience. At the same time, hotels are looking to lower costs. One reason for this is that Airbnb and similar alternatives have cut into the occupancy rates and revenue of many hotels.
