Class members should divide themselves into groups of four to six along gender, race/ethnicity, or age lines. For example, the class might form several single-sex groups. Each group should first appoint a recorder/spokesperson to take notes. Then each group should discuss the following two questions:

a. How do you see yourselves as group members? What characteristics do you believe you have?

b. How do you see the other group as group members? What characteristics do you believe they have?
