a. Identify two possible majors that might be of interest to you. They can be different areas of business or majors other than business.
b. Specify your goal structure or set of values and preferences relevant to your choice of major. In other words, specify the factors that are important to you in choosing a major and a possible career. Which of these factors are most important to you?
c. Develop decision criteria for making a choice of majors.
The criteria should be derived from and consistent with the values you specified in (b), with the criteria weighted by the degree of importance you assigned to them.
d. Identify the sources from which you can acquire information relevant to your decision. Acquire the information you feel will be useful in making your decision.
