Your close friend Avery was recently hired to work in the accounting department at Ted's Automotive Ltd. You are excited to have your friend working at the same place as you. You were a bit surprised that he got an accounting job given he was in the sciences program when you both attended university.
After one month, you decide to go for lunch with Avery, who tells you he really doesn't understand what he is doing in that Accounting Department, especially when it comes to recording journal entries, but he says, "As long as the debits equal the credits, I should be good. The accounting software we use would have told me if I was doing something wrong, plus by the time anyone reviews any of my work, I will probably be working at another place."
