We use the word 'organisation' to describe an entity when we are describing the place where we work ('my organisation'), a particular business enterprise ('Shell is an international organisation') or as a general term to describe undertakings ('over 200 organisations were represented at the conference'. Organisation as a process describes how something is done ('the organisation of the conference was very efficient'; 'the project failed due to poor organisation'). Think of examples of personnel work which are organisation as a process.
