1. A family friend is president of the local school board. In a conversation you have with her at your parent’s home, you tell her that you’ve taken a sport and exercise psychology course. As she learns more about what you are studying and your career goals, she reveals that the school board is dealing with an increasing number of complaints of inappropriate behavior, cheating, bullying, and poor sporting behavior in the athletic program. She asks you what the role should be of the sport coaches and physical educators in enhancing character development and teaching good sporting behavior.
