a. Interview someone who has been out of work for over a month. Is this person classified as unemployed, and, if so, what type of unemployment is this person experiencing? What are the costs of unemployment to this person?

b. How has inflation affected the tuition you pay at the college or university you are currently attending? What was the tuition in 2005, 2010, and the current year? How have changes in your school’s tuition compared to changes in the overall Consumer Price Index?

c. Compile a list of all the goods and services that you have produced in the last month that would not be counted as part of GDP. Why would they not be counted? Can you estimate the value of this production?
