Information Protection. One evening, Oliver breaches a data bank of Peppy Energy Drinks, Inc., discovering confi dential marketing plans. Oliver copies the plans, which he then offers for sale to Quito Beverage Co., Peppy’s competitor. If Oliver does not otherwise disturb Peppy’s data, has he committed a crime?
