Cyber Monday falls on the first Monday following the Thanksgiving holiday. During Cyber Monday, employers find that a significant number of employees are surfing the web for holiday deals. A recent survey revealed that 64 percent of professionals planned on shopping online during working hours. Even though 53 percent of managers in the technology sector would prefer that employees not shop online while at work, 76 percent admitted that their company policies do not forbid it.58
