(i) What name would you give to the experimental design that he used. (ii) Give a linear model for the data from this design and outline the ANOVA (source of variation, d.f.). (iii) Explain why or why not your ANOVA table in (ii) agrees with the re- searcher's ANOVA table given above. (iv) Give the formula for the theoretical variance for the comparison between two treatments using this design.
