They do not seem to see why they must care for the organization upon which they rely to produce the kinds and levels of care they would have to go elsewhere to perform. For example, they fought against a new policy for handling drugs, when it had to be public knowledge that the State required tightening. Is this Sharon’s failure to lead them to care about the institution’s integrity, or is there a theme in their subculture that has them convinced they bear no responsibility on their side of the organization?
