Skilled employees becoming more demanding of their employers. Increasing difficulty recruiting and keeping talented employees. The working population is aging and becoming more diverse. Greater sensitivity to ethical practices and corporate social responsibility. Greater concern for workers' quality of life and personal fulfilment. More individualised (less standardised) relationships between employers and employees. Greater importance put upon the ability to communicate ideas and persuade others.
