I am a graduate from Trinity University in San Antonio with a major in Engineering Science and Mathematics. In addition to his STEM focus, my liberal arts education provided me numerous opportunities to explore business and entrepreneurship.
I have experience as an engineer who communicates technical information to customers in numerous industries including oil and gas, product analysis, academia, and design. Additionally, I have over 7 years of experience teaching standardized tests and STEM material from middle school to college level.
I have been part of numerous Stumberg Venture competitions and was in charge of the technical engineering of several products for the final rounds of pitching. My ability to communicate efficiently with the team and the judges combined with his understanding of how to apply technical knowledge to this application based project allowed the team to advance to the final round. I was then recruited to by the 2020 Stumberg Venture Competition winner, HydroTek LLC to develop their final product.
I am highly passionate about the science governing the world with regards to physics, engineering, mathematics, and the practical application of these subjects. My style of teaching focuses on having a firm grasp of the fundamentals while learning how the theory applies in everyday life. The student can then create their own original problem solving strategies which will be more comfortable and reliable than those adopted from other people.
I have consistently scored within the top 1% of the nation for both the SAT and the ACT exams from 2012-2020 and ahve even guided some of his students to achieving a ten point increase on their ACT exam.
