1. Detailed specification of the project Purpose The purpose of this project is to design a stop light controller for a corner where two streets cross, with either a go or stop state. Essentially, the goal of this project is to design a four way stop light with multiple states. Upon completion of this project, we'll be able to demonstrate an HLSM, a datapath, a controller, our coding capabilities with verilog, and our knowledge of the Basys board. All of this will help fulfill the purpose, or objectives of this project, t demonstrate our ability to find solutions to problems, design logic systems, validate behavioral systems, and show our performance on an FPGA board. o Explanation of any design constraints 2.
