1. Develop a LIST of criteria for the layoffs in the Sales Department.

We are seeing many employers across many industries currently announcing they will be laying off employees. When Amazon announces an 18K number of employees to lay off, what happens after that announcement? This assignment gives you the opportunity on a much smaller scale to look at how you would handle this process.

Several times in my corporate management career I was asked to rank order my employees in the event of a layoff. I wasn't always told how many employees - just to rank order them in case the organization needed to officially proceed with layoffs.

For this assignment, you are being asked to develop the list of CRITERIA you will use to make that decision based on the data you have above. This does not mean you are identifying who will get laid off. You are creating the criteria to be used for yourself and/or management to be used when laying off employees.
