1. Draw the correct set of DFDs of the Hoosier Burger's food ordering system shown in the textbook. You need to draw only those diagrams that you need to demonstrate the rule violations I have asked below. Draw the diagrams on a computer using the drawing tools in Microsoft Word or in Microsoft Visio. Drawing the diagrams on a computer makes it faster and easier to make the changes in the diagrams that you are required to do in this assignment. That is because in the next step you duplicate the diagrams and edit the duplicates to demonstrate the rule violations asked below. 2

2. Consider the first rule Rule B in Table 7-2. Think of an example of violation of the rule in the DFDs of Hoosier Burger's food ordering system. Make a table made of three columns as shown in my example. The column headings are Rule number, Brief description of rule, and Brief description of example of violation of rule. Add those contents for Rule B into the table. Try to keep the descriptions in the second and third columns to one sentence.

3. To demonstrate your chosen example of violation of Rule B in a DFD, modify the corresponding DFD you drew in Problem #1 to display the violation. Circle the modification and label it "Rule B error".

4. Repeat the above two steps for rules F, K, P in Table 7-2, and rule Q in Table 7-3.
