1. Identify a problem as an aim statement. Develop an aim/problem statement (how good, by when, for whom?). Faculty will assist you to re-frame your PICO question as a QI/change problem if you wish to use the same topic or consider changing the project topic at this point. 2. Who are the stakeholders? Identify them only by their role/titles (no names). Whom would you need to have "on board" if you were to implement this project? Who is affected by the problem or the change? 3. Develop a Fishbone (cause and effect) diagram to determine the causative factors of the problem. 4. Develop a PICK Chart method for determining the best course of action. Place interventions in the chart based on their ease of implementation and payoff
