I chose this particular scenario because I am majoring in business management so naturally I think that I am going to be dealing with situations similar to this one and that it will be helpful to see what math will look like in a real life situation that I may come across. Like I just mentioned this is something that I believe I may be dealing with in the future and it would be nice to see a real world example. It is also interesting to me because I already deal with this a little bit at work. After working retail, mostly processing, for a few years, you catch on to the way that they send the product to your store. When I, hopefully, move up in my career to corporate I will be studying datasets such as this one to figure out how much product we need to send, how fast it's selling, predicting how it's going to sell over the holiday, etc. I'm not entirely sure what to expect or what I hope I to get out of my analysis.
