The wall temperature is maintained at 105C (refer to appendix to find the values of fluid properties). a) Calculate the heat transfer coefficient for water. (25 marks) b) Calculate the Overall heat transfer coefficient based on the inside surface area. Given, the heat transfer coefficient on the steam side is 14kW/m2C1 and the copper tube has a thickness of 5mm. The copper tube has a thermal conductivity of 120W/m1C1. (15 marks) c) Calculate the convection heat transfer for water flowing in the copper tube. (10 marks)
