1.One night, John is out with his friends at a local bar. During the night, John is confronted by Bill who starts a fistfight with John. John defends himself and manages to get on top of Bill and holds him to the ground.At this point, however, John, begins to repeatedly slam Bill's head against the hard wood floor. Bill manages to get John off of him but John continues to attack him. Bill is fearful for his life and believes if John gets him to the floor again, John will kill him. Bill then grabs a bottle and strikes John over the head and kills him. Bill is charged with murder. Bill claims he was justified in defending himself. Whether or not Bill's claim of self-defense will be successful based upon the case discussed during the lecture.
