2. (8 points) The following curve below shows measured CT projection data at a fixed angle of 30 degrees. The x-axis represents the number of detector units in a detector array. The y-axis gd is the basic projection measurement. By performing an empty scan (with no sample), we figured out that the reference intensity on each detector unit was I0=10000 counts. Assuming all detector units are identical. In the CT scan data of a patient, if the measured intensity on the 100th and the 200th detector unit was Id,100=200 counts and Id,200=100 counts, respectively. (i) Calculate the basic projection measurements gd,100 and gd,200, respectively. Keep three digits after the decimal point. (ii) Looking at the 100th detector unit as shown in the following figure, assuming the thickness of the sample (the value of s) passing through the human body along the 100thx-ray beam is 20cm, and assuming the tissue along this line segment is uniform. Calculate the linear attenuation coefficient of the tissue along this line. Because it is uniform, there will be only a single value to find and to report
