A Case Study: Soybeans to Chemicals Soybeans have become a remarkably useful crop in the last few decades. Soybean processing plant in which three different products are made: soybean oil, soy protein powder, and succinic acid. Typically, soybeans are separated into only two productsthe aforementioned oil and the soybean meal (the remaining solids).
