A hairdresser, Australian Hairlines, decides to run a promotion in order to get some new customers. Australian Hairlines places an advertisement in a newspaper which states that anyone who appears with the advert from the paper will receive a haircut for $1. The next morning, the hairdresser's is swamped with people demanding a haircut for $1. Australian Hairlines puts up a sign in its window stating that there will be no more haircuts for $1, the promotion has finished. A number of people are really annoyed that they cannot receive the 'offer'. Similarly, there are too many people in the hairdressing salon to actually be given a haircut; they are asked to leave and told that the offer is also not available to them.
