The following information is available: Expected opening cash and bank balance on 1 January 2022 is RM7,200. Production in units: 2021 Sep 720 Oct 810 Nov 900 Dec 960 2022 Jan 1,050 Feb 1,110 Mar 1,140 Apr 1,020 . Raw material used in production cost RM30 per unit. Of this 90% is paid in the month of production and 10% in the month after production. Direct labour costs of RM48 per unit are payable in the month of production. Variable expenses are RM12 per unit, payable 40% in the same month as production 60% in the month after production. Sales at RM120 per unit: . 2021 Sep 600 Oct 960 Nov 870 Dec 1.200 2022 Jan 900 Feb 1,050 Mar 1,200 Apr 1,170 . All sales are on credit. Debtors are expected to pay their accounts three months after sales are made. Fixed expenses are RM12,000 per month (including depreciation expenses RM1,800) payable each month.
