A jaw crusher is used in a size reduction process to reduce the size of a mineral. Earlier test on the same mineral has shown that the power required to reduce the size of the feed in the range 40 to 50mm to a product with size distribution shown in the table 1 , is 13.0kW when the feed rate is 3.6 tonne/hr.
