The employees name is Stephanie Harper and her wage rate is $20 per hour.
Stephanie has been working for the employer for 18 years
Stephanie receives required vacation pay each pay period.
Stephanie was given September 30 off as a holiday (National Day for Truth and Reconciliation). She will get a normal day of pay for the day.
The office follows Labour Standards very closely for all matters related to pay for employees and only provides only the statutory minimums required by Labour standards.
Stephanie receives an auto allowance of $300 per month and a cell phone allowance of $100 per month. Both of these payments are received as a cheque from the accounts payable at the beginning of each month.
Stephanie contributes $5% of gross pay to the companys group RPP plan. The employer matches the contribution.
Stephanie pays $25 per pay period towards the companys group health insurance plan. The employer also pays $25 per pay period.
The Canada Revenue Agency has issued a garnishee for income taxes in arrears and has requested that the company deduct $100 per pay period and forward to the CRA for income tax arrears.
Stephanies local auto mechanic has contacted your office to get payment deducted from payroll to cover a recent auto repair bill. The total repair is $1,500 and the mechanic has requested an amount of $150 per pay period until the bill is paid in full. The mechanic has volunteered that she has filed a lien against Stephanies car for the repair bill.
Stephanie is in claim code 3 for both federal and provincial income taxes.
