A new organization named , requires the design and implementation of an IT infrastructure that supports over 500 of its employees. The local area network (LAN) design needs to support VLANs for a minimum of four (4) departments such as accounting and human resources. Departments need access to key resources such as a DNS server and a website on the Internet. The example network topology within the instructions should be scaled to meet the future needs of this organization.

Assignment Requirements

1. Add to and modify the part 1 Cisco Packet Tracer file as necessary.
2. Create the new assignment network topology in Cisco Packet Tracer.
3. Use proper NIC hardware for each port and assign proper cables between the devices.
4. Show a table that shows all devices, interfaces, IP addresses, subnet masks, wildcard masks, default gateways and any other relevant information.
5. Design and assign proper IP addresses per the topology to all NIC cards on the routers, switches, servers, and PCs. Use efficient subnets. IPv4 or IPv6 can be used.
6. Label the NIC cards in Packet Tracer with their assigned IP addresses.
7. Design, create, and implement four (4) VLANs for four (4) business departments such as the accounting department.

10. Ensure inter-VLAN routing is working by properly configuring four (4) VLANs to function across four unique routers.

12. Show a proper design and configuration for a data center with working DNS and DHCP servers.
