A project of a hypothetical organization is described below. Using MS Project, create a project plan for each project to manage the project to assure the successful completion of the project based on the project plan guidelines.

System Security Plan Review and Forensic Analysis Background: ATA's Office of Information Security (OIS) provides cybersecurity governance and incident response services to agencies within county's executive branch. Major activities around these services include the evaluation of System Security Plans (SSPs) against the NIST 800-53 standards and forensic analysis of systems suspected of compromise.

Scope: The project scope encompasses the evaluation of various SSPs and evaluation of forensic evidence for familiarization with current cyber security standards and common indicators of compromise on end user systems:

Familiarization training on NIST 800-53 security control framework

Familiarization with the ATA OIS SSP evaluation template

Conduct analysis of Executive agency SSPs and provide deliverable by established due date

Familiarization with forensic services available through the Multi-State Information Sharing and Analysis Center

Familiarization with the Incident Response Process Familiarization and use of the KAPE tool for forensic data capture

Analysis of forensic evidence for potential compromise

Approximately 10-15 hours per student required weekly (1-hour virtual session with sponsor every 1-2 weeks until completion)

Create workflow diagrams (Swim Lane ethical diagrams)

Creation of formal document repository

o Provide library for all Service and Delivery related Policies

Occasional on-site work at remote work locations (8 ET 6 ET) may be required

Approximately 30 hours per student required weekly
