A psychologist wants to study how interruptions affect concentration. There are 18 subjects in this study. This study is a repeated measures design. Each subject will participate in two conditions. In condition 1, the subject is asked to work Sudoku puzzles. The subject is given a fixed amount of time to work with no interruptions. In condition 2, the subject is also asked to work Sudoku puzzles for a fixed amount of time, but is periodically interrupted by a cell phone left in the room that rings on a set schedule. Concentration scores are based on the number of puzzles correctly completed during that time.
