A researcher was interested in the experiences of daily hassles for adults of diferent ages. Three groups of adults, within diferent age ranges (20-29 years old, 30-39 years old, and 40-49 years old) reported the extent to which they felt hassled in their lives, using a 5- point scale (where higher numbers indicated a greater level of hassles).
