The suction pipe is 50 m long of 25cm diameter of Darcy's friction factor, fD=0.022 and the delivery pipe is of 20 cm diameter, 1600m long and has an fD=0.022. The pump characteristics can be defined as Hp=1006000Q2 where Hp= pump head in meters and Q is the discharge in 3/s. Calculate the head and discharge of the pump. (10 marks)
