Instructions:
1. Assignment to be written within the word limit of 1000-1500 words only.
2. All assignments are to be typed. No handwritten assignments will be accepted.
3. Soft copies of the assignment to be uploaded in the Moodle drop box.
4. The assignment should include proper referencing. Use Harvard referencing style.

Assignments that exceed more than 20% of similarity will be subject to penalty.
6. Due date of the assignment: Week 6, 29th April 2022, 4pm.
7. Assignments that exceed due dates could be subject to penalty.

2. Describe how the perpetrator committed the fraud (2 Marks)
3. How was the fraud identified, including what investigative techniques were used to
recognize the fraud? (2 marks)
4. Specify what internal control procedures should be in place to prevent such a fraud
happening in future. (0.75 mark)
